This story happened not so long ago, and I am very sorry that this did not happen before. Having visited my friend, I got to her at the time of laying the laundry in the washer. I thought something was hurting her, because at that time she took out a packet of aspirin from the locker. But, to my surprise, Olya soaked aspirin and put it in the washing machine. When I saw the result of washing, he simply stunned me: the linen just shone with white. I've never done it before.
Why linen pills - why treat it?
Since then, I also use this miracle remedy. That's because I have never seen the best bleach in my life. Just imagine washing with aspirin will help you:
- bleach the grayed things (mine began to look even better than after the expensive bleach, which I used before);
- rid them of yellow spots;
- remove sweat and various impurities from the smell;
- Do not spoil the fabric (unlike the same chlorine);
- Do not harm the car (but, on the contrary, even clean it);
- save, and pretty good (just compare the prices of high-quality bleaches and acetylsalicylic acid).
In white, any of us looks royal. But this color has one significant drawback: it shows the slightest dirt. In addition, from frequent washes, and sometimes from the improper use of bleaches, white things quickly acquire a gray or yellowish tint, which is not so easy to cope with. An aspirin tablet will help prevent the situation by preventing a strong loss of whiteness, and soaking with it will save significantly damaged things. Wash yourself - you will see the result.
And do not think about which drug is needed: UPSA, cardio, with vitamin C or regular acetyl. Any of them will do for washing, the difference is only in price. But the effervescent forms dissolve best.
For whitening, a drug whose expiration date has expired is quite suitable. You can thus usefully use your home pharmacy overdue: it’s absolutely not important for the whitening properties of aspirin. Overdue will cope with the task in the same way as a new one.
How to wash clothes with aspirin in a washing machine?
For washing clothes, which only slightly lost their whiteness, a quick way is quite suitable - without soaking. Take a few tablets - the more linen, the more drug - grind them. You can slightly sprinkle with water (they will get wet pretty quickly), and then crush it). Mix with a liquid detergent (it is also possible with ordinary powder, but wet acetyl is much more effective) and pour on laundry in the drum of the machine (dry powder, of course, is poured into a cuvette). Then it remains to choose the appropriate mode and start the cycle.
Saving badly damaged things
If the linen has long lost its original whiteness, intensive bleaching is required - do not do without preliminary soaking. To do this, you must:
- soak and crush half an aspirin blister (5 tablets);
- add the resulting mass to 7-8 liters of warm water;
- soak laundry in this solution;
- leave it for at least 8 hours;
- wash by hand or in a washing machine.
Dry things after such "resuscitation" in the sun, if there is such an opportunity: under its rays, the acid will additionally show whitening properties. Well, to be sure that you will save your things, you can add a couple of tablets after soaking in the drum of the machine.
Limescale Prevention
But that's not all that ordinary aspirin can do. With its help it is possible to prevent the formation of scale (and remove its non-critical deposits) on the heating element of the washing machine. To do this, again take half a blister of antipyretic, slightly moisten, crush and dilute with air conditioning. Pour into the compartment for the air conditioner, start the cycle of idle washing (without linen).
Of course, persistent layers of salts cannot be removed in this way, but until the problem has become catastrophic, acetyl can be a good helper. After all, it is an acid that acts by analogy, for example, with citric acid. The main thing is to carry out such prevention systematically, at least every six months (and if your water is very hard, then more often).
Since I learned about such an effective, and besides, inexpensive bleach, I use only washing with aspirin for my white items. I highly advise you: try it. I’m sure you won’t regret it.
Dazzling whiteness to your favorite things!
