How to make a bottle of champagne from sweets with your own hands?
Despite the chic look, this craft is very simple to execute and will require only 1.5 hours of free time.
From the materials you will need:
- approximately 0.7–1 kg of sweets (60–90 pieces), depending on the type of decor chosen;
- a bottle of delicious champagne;
- jewelry of your choice (bow, satin ribbons, yellow sisal, colored paper, crepe paper, beads and rhinestones, Christmas garlands, twine, organza);
- glue, scissors and scotch tape.
Now a very important point - the way to attach sweets to the bottle. There are 3 options:
- Glue candy on double-sided tape. This method can only work if the tape is strong and the sweets are light. For example, a double-sided mounting tape is great for crafts. With it, you decorate a bottle of champagne in minutes.
- Use a glue gun and silicone rods. Hot glue will reliably hold even heavy decor. In addition, silicone is non-toxic. But with glass, it has not the best coupling. For reliable fastening it will be necessary to use a substrate - felt, crepe paper or something else.
- Take ordinary, not hot glue. For example, many use Moment Crystal or Superglue. The volumetric composition will take 5-7 small tubes. To save money, you can use Titan wild household glue. A bottle of 250 ml will cost 50 rubles. The only thing that repels the use of universal glue is relative toxicity. But if you think soberly, sweets are wrapped in candy wrappers, so nothing will happen to chocolate.
Choose sweets without ponytails. To make the craft look neat, you'll need to hide it. And it will take a lot of time.
Master class "Pineapple"
To create an exotic fruit, you need round candies with a gold, orange or yellow candy wrapper. Usually use "golden lily" or truffles in golden foil.
Prepare the following materials:
- a bottle of champagne;
- 66 candies "Golden Lily";
- tape of an aspidistre 3 cm wide and 3 m long;
- yellow sisal;
- yellow organza;
- double sided tape;
- electrical tape;
- a beautiful ribbon for a bow;
- scissors;
- glue gun with rods.
Further course of action:
- Rinse with water and wipe the bottle dry.
- If sweets with "ponytails", wrap them inside out and fix the insulating tape with squares (2 by 2 cm).
- Cut pineapple leaves from the aspidistra. You will need 10 large leaves, 7 medium and 7 small (15, 10 and 7 cm).
- Tape the bottom third of the bottle with double-sided tape. Wrap it with organza. This will provide a good glue bond and a realistic pineapple look.
- Start sticking sweets on the bottom of the bottle. Apply glue to the electrical tape that holds the “ponytails”. Move in a circle.
- About 11 sweets will go to each row. It is important that they fit snugly together.
- After finishing the first row, wrap sisal on the bottle and fix it with glue.
- In the second and subsequent rows, the candies must be staggered.
- After each row, glue the sisal to give the pineapple “hairiness”.
- Paste champagne over sweets until the neck begins.
- Wind the remaining tape (except for the top of 5 cm) double-sided tape. Place large overlap leaves on it. Then use tape again and glue the middle leaves, and then the small ones.
- Fasten the bow on the base of the neck, and twist the leaves slightly, stretching out with scissors.
It is best to use a pot-bellied bottle of champagne for the Pineapple composition. With it, your fruit will turn out as believable as possible.
Master class "Herringbone"
Herringbone from a bottle of champagne and sweets will come in handy if there is no real Christmas tree in the house. It is made of tinsel, Christmas-tree decorations and sweets in a bright candy wrapper of red, blue, gold or silver. Truffles and other candies in the shape of a pyramid with one “tail” at the top are ideal for these purposes.
For crafts, you will need the following materials:
- a bottle of champagne;
- 31 candy “Evening Moscow”;
- Christmas tinsel of green color with a short and dense pile - 3 m;
- star decoration about 12 by 12 cm;
- small bows;
- Christmas beads;
- double sided tape;
- stapler;
- universal glue.
Working process:
- Wash and dry the bottle dry.
- Stick double-sided tape around the entire perimeter (except for the top 5-7 cm);
- Starting from the bottom, tightly wind the Christmas tree tinsel in a spiral.
- Spread the tinsel slightly at the bottom of the bottle and glue the first candy by the tail. Make a row of 4 candies, evenly distributing them in a circle.
- In the second row, glue the sweets in a checkerboard pattern.
- Make 7 rows, and on the 8th stick 3 candies.
- Fix the sprocket on the top with glue.
- Attach bows to the tinsel with a stapler.
- Put on the beads and also use a stapler for better fixation.
To make the lining of sweets easily removed, prepare the base: wrap the bottle with a sheet of white paper. Near the neck, make 5 vertical cuts, fix them with adhesive tape with an overlap. Also tape the bottom of the bottle with tape. The second layer is crepe paper. Glue it on hot glue or double-sided tape. Decorate the bottle with sweets. And when you need to remove the decor, pick up the paper with a knife in the center of the bottle. A couple of seconds - and you free the shaman.
