Many of us love daisy-like flowers. The first flower painted in childhood looks exactly like this - a yellow core with petals at the edges. I immediately recall childhood with a naive fortune-telling on a daisy “loves - does not love”. Flowers with petals, like chamomiles - white, blue, yellow, charming in their simplicity, pleasing to the eye, unpretentious care, harmoniously look at flower beds and areas. They are equally good in single or mixed landings. At the same time, their color scheme and sizes can be completely different. These are not types of chamomile, but completely different flowers. Let's look at the most popular of them.
What are daisy-like flowers called?
Anacyclus
Anacyclus is easily confused with chamomile, because they are really very similar. This flower has about 10 varietal species, can be both annual and perennial. The anacyclus blooms by the end of May and continues to give color until the end of July / beginning of August. This representative of the astro family responds to lighting: by evening, the flowers close, and open when morning comes. Most often in garden beds you can see Anacyclus depressus - it is considered the most common species, grown as a perennial. From the category of annuals, the most favorite (often found) are Anacyclus clavatus (club-shaped) and Anacyclus radiatus (radiant). The white petals of Anacyclus depressus underneath are pink, which distinguishes it from chamomile. This is a low plant of creeping type, it has strong pedicels. The flowers themselves are about 5 cm in diameter.

Gerbera
The general structure of the gerbera resembles a chamomile, but unlike the "classic" white-yellow color, it can be pink, dark cherry, scarlet, orange, cream, completely yellow or lilac.
She is certainly attractive in her diversity. Today, there are many varieties of this flower. The rich color gamut of gerbera shades and the enviable vitality (retains freshness for a very long time after cutting) makes it popular for arranging bouquets.
Gerberas can also be terry, their multiple petals, depending on the variety, are tubular, curly or spiky. It can be grown both in open ground and indoors, in pots. It blooms in the summer and continues to delight your eyes until November. The size of the flowers, as well as the height of the stems, vary depending on the variety. Today, there are approximately 100 species of this attractive and unpretentious plant.
Gerbera:
Leucanthemum
In fact, this is meadow chamomile. Leucanthemum - this is the name of the most common variety of this flower representative. Like a gerbera, a nyvyanik can have different forms: terry, with needle petals, with large inflorescences or small ones. In our country, this plant is most often grown as a perennial, blooms in early summer and continues to produce flowers until late autumn. It is absolutely unpretentious to the soil and the place of growth.

Gatzania
What only shades does not exist in gatzania: bright lemon, delicate cream, lilac, saturated red, orange, bicolor striped, etc. Gatzania is very similar to chamomile, only to multi-colored. Coloring can be very diverse. Gatzanias with gradient coloring are very beautiful when one color smoothly transforms into another. In nature, there are about 40 varieties of this flower, all of them are frost-resistant, photophilous, and also resistant to drought and heat. Gatzania blooms by the beginning of summer and continues to bloom to the very frosts. Its height does not exceed 30-40 cm. The flower can remain fresh for a long time in a vase after cutting. The plant is grown in open ground, in pots, flowerpots, boxes. Looks harmoniously in the company of other flowers in the flowerbed, as well as in single plantings. With its help, decorate paths, borders, alpine hills.
Gatzania:
Rudbeckia
Rudbeckia just refers to those plants that are said to be, flowers like daisies are only multi-colored. This is a tall flower that can reach from 50 cm to 2 m in height (Rudbeckia laciniata - dissected), the size of the inflorescences varies from 9 to 12 cm, depending on the variety. Large flowers can have a double color of the petals (from darker at the base to light at the tips). Rudbeckia is also yellow, cream, pink, brownish-scarlet, orange. This unpretentious plant is a perennial that will feel comfortable in one place for about 5 years. To date, there are many species (about 40) and hybrids of this flower. Rudbeckia is an adornment of the autumn flower garden, because the time of its flowering falls in the second half of August and September.

Doronicum
This is a cool cold-resistant flower, which can become a bright decoration of your site with the advent of May. Blooming doronicum lasts about 1.5 months, but the likelihood that it will again please you with its flowers in the middle of summer or closer to autumn is very high. Its genus consists of 40 species, but only 10 of its species are most popular. Doronikum is also called the "roe." Depending on the variety, it can grow up to 50 cm or 1 m in height. Its flowers are large, from 8 to 10 cm in diameter. If you cut the doronicum and put it in a vase, it will stand for a very long time without losing its freshness. You should know that this flower is poisonous (its ground part).
One tip: do not plant doronicum (perennial roe) under the trees - they inhibit it, shortening the flowering time.
Doronicum:
Arctotis
Another name for it is Bear's Ear. Most often found in two types - high (up to 1 m 20 cm) and undersized (about 20 cm). Flower petals can be white, as well as red, orange, pink, cream. Colored petals indicate hybrids. This plant loves the sun, its flowers open with the advent of a new day and close with the onset of evening. Arctotis blooms in early summer and continues to give you flowers until the first frost. It is resistant to drought, needs minimal watering, in general, the flower is unpretentious.

Chrysanthemum Bacardi
This relatively recently bred varietal species (2004) is often used to compose bouquets and various flower arrangements. Bacardi chrysanthemums have a yellow center and white petals, which gives them the maximum resemblance to a sun chamomile. In addition to the "classic" colors, flower petals can be yellow, soft purple, red, cream, pink. The uncomplicated structure of the buds gives creative imagination to florists - inflorescences are painted in different shades, sprinkled with sequins and other small decor.
This plant looks very attractive both in single plantings and in company with other garden crops. Cut flowers remain fresh for a long time, and Bacardi can also be grown indoors, in a pot. Before planting a chrysanthemum in open ground, you should pre-select for it sunlit areas, since during shading it may not produce flowers. Watering should be plentiful, but at the same time, an excess of moisture should not be allowed.
Chrysanthemum Bacardi:
Daisies
This is another daisy-like flower. Especially pronounced similarity is observed in the variety with a yellow core and white petals. Naturally, this is not the only option for the natural color of the daisies; they can be bright raspberry, red, lilac, orange, rich yellow, etc. The buds can be of different sizes and shapes. This flower itself is low, blooms in early spring, blooms before frost. Despite the external fragility, it is quite hardy and unthinking. A daisy will look appropriate everywhere: in a single landing, as an element of an alpine hill, as a track design, in company with other flowers, like a potted plant. It is noteworthy that it is the daisy that is the indispensable element in the composition of the flower-grass mixture of the Moorish lawn.

Cosmea
Bright, delicate cosmea flowers are prone to self-seeding. They are associated with summer warmth, surprisingly unpretentious and beautiful precisely because of their charming simplicity. Cosmey can be found everywhere: in flowerbeds, in parks, on city lawns. A lush green carpet with colorful flowers will decorate your site, fill bald spots, for example, at the fence, if you decide to plant it. She is not afraid of drought and heat, resistant to cold, undemanding to the composition of the soil. Today, there are approximately 25 different species of this elegant flower. Pink, white, deep red, soft purple buds crown the erect stems, which reach from 70 to 1 m 50 cm in height. Cosmea is good in itself and in company with other colors. If you have “empty” places in the flowerbed, plant a cosmea there, it will quickly and efficiently hide all the “flaws”, and will shade other garden representatives with its presence.
Cosmea:
Pyrethrum
The flower is very similar to a camomile. He is even called a Dalmatian daisy. Outwardly, it is very similar to a nyvyanik, only its petals are pink. This flower is a perennial. Once you have planted it, you will admire it for many years. The pyrethrum is medium-tall, reaches a height of about 50 cm, is unpretentious, the only thing is that it does not like waterlogging. Pyrethrum flowers bloom in May, bloom long and plentifully.

All the above plants are only a small part of the representatives of the green world, which in their structure and shape of buds resemble chamomile. Echinacea, ursinia, gelichrysum, dimorphotheque, zinnia (majors), some varieties of dahlias, asters and many others can safely replenish this list. At the same time, breeders of all countries continue to work tirelessly to develop new varieties.
